Bradford Cyrenians provides a range of supported housing, hostel and floating support provision for homeless men and women, former rough sleepers and services that specialise in supporting men fleeing domestic abuse, lone parents and ex offenders. Our services are flexible and user-led, with a focus on prevention, enabling individuals to take control of their lives.
2 x Full time Supported Housing Officers – working with lone parents and their children
We are recruiting for our Parent+ service, working with lone parent families who are accommodated in our supported housing or providing floating support to families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Many families are fleeing or have experienced domestic violence/abuse. #
We have secured funding through the National Lotteries to expand the service and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of this provision.
Working 35 hours per week, flexibly between 9am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday
Salary – £22,500

Hostel & Homes 4 Life Team Leader
Working 35 hours per week, working flexibly between 8:30am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday
Salary – £25,500 per annum
The candidate needs to be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of vulnerable communities.
To directly line manage Hostel Support Assistants, Support Worker Night Warden Team and Homes4Life team. Also to provide a management steer to other staff in the absence of the service manager. To manage the Homes4life project which is dispersed accommodation across the Bradford district.

Men Standing Up provides a service for men who are suffering from domestic abuse. We offer a confidential Freephone helpline and a floating support service.
You will assist the Service Manager and Supported Housing Officers to offer support to callers over the telephone. You will, after induction, be responsible for support, signposting and offering emotional support to callers. You will be signposting callers to other support agencies and or referring callers to our Men Standing Up floating support scheme.
The job may entail some lone working.
You must be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of callers who are or have been suffering domestic abuse. We are looking for volunteers with the willingness to learn and develop.
A full induction will be offered along with regular supervision and ongoing training. Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
