Aims of the service
The Parent+ service was developed due to a lack of appropriate supported housing and support services in Bradford for single parents
The accommodation element of our service runs on the housing first model and offers families stability and housing related support to move onto independent living. If however, they wish to move area, rehousing support will be made available as part of our service delivery.
We also provide a community outreach service to families who have their own accommodation but need extra support / interventions to maintain their accommodation. This approach will help to prevent families losing their home or help to identify and assist them in moving to more appropriate housing.
